My Daydream
As a young woman, I have had many goals that I've dreamed of for as long as I can remember. I've been lucky enough to achieve some, and blessed enough to still have faith in the others.
One dream that has always stuck with me was to find a way to create beautiful things for a living. When I was small, I was naturally drawn to art. I would take the time to sketch (using graphite pencils) any chance I got, escaping from the chaos surrounding me, tuning into the creativity within my child mind.
I didn't realize it yet, but this was a way for me to express the things that I didn't yet have words for.
Steadily, this passion grew, and I started using acrylic paints in addition to the pencil drawings; and from then I knew, that for the rest of my life, creativity was and forever would be a sacred aspect of my life. Where I can find peace.
So, then, why do I want people to see the art that I create?
Because even through the mountainous emotions and experiences you face, maybe for just a moment, these creations can hold space for you to feel peace too.
